america's new president
allow me to say a few words about america's prsidential election..first, i would like to congratulate barrack obama on becoming america's president.. all i see on websites, news and probably tomorrow's print media will be 'congrats on obama on be coming america's first black president'.. but i feel the people shoudn't keep stressing the word 'black'.. they should use african-american instead, isn't it?
however, what i feel that brought awareness about obama to the people of america when he was running against clinton to be the democratic presidential candidate.. think about it, there are '2' firsts in that, an african-american, or 'black', as some people prefer it, and a lady! wow
but as my brother mentioned it, by america's people voting for obama, it shows how much america has progressed.. many years before, a 'black' president would definitely be unheard off..
