a very touching story of how a dad brought his disabled son on a triathlon.. all throughout, you can see the determination in the dad's eyes, on how determined he was to bring his son to finish the race.. the true mark of a champion.. both of them have really earned my fullest respect..

first with the swimming leg, he swamed, and at the same time, towed a inflatable boat with his son in it.. then in the cycling leg, an additional structure attached to the front of the bicycle to allow his son to sit in it while he cycles, and lastly, pushing his son on a wheel chair while he completed the running leg..

i teared on 3 different occassions today, and even after watching it so many times, i still feel really touched when i see this clip..

my dream..

last night i had a very frightful dream.. i dreamt of my own death.. and YES! i did indeed dreamt of my own death.. i can't remember the exact details but.. it was really quite frightening to me! the fact that the night was cold make it seem so realistic.. i woke up in cold sweat, and because tiredness quickly overtook me again, i quickly drifted off to sleep..

i wonder if its the pressure of school and FYP that make me loose good sleep, and to top it up, dream of such amazing things..

somebody.. SAVE me! =p

updates..

i was so busy with school work recently that i didn't have time to blog, so when i have the chance to, i would like to make some wishes and some apologies..

first and foremost, i would like to wish my brother happy belated 21st birthday.. many you enjoy the legal age to do alot of funny stuff =p

next, peipei and i would like to apologise to gillian.. sorry girl! we didn't mean to miss your birthday party yesterday night.. but i was too pre-occupied with my FYP that i forgot to tell you.. though i could make it, but by the time i realised i forgot to rsvp to you, it was too late.. nevertheless, happy 22nd birthday to you!

last night, peipei and i initially wanted to go to sakae to enjoy the $20 birthday voucher they sent me, but because there was no sakae in town (orchard), in the end we went to triple 3 to have a buffet dinner.. boy was it good! though it was very expensive, about $65 per pax (including service charge and GST), i really enjoyed the thick slices of sashimi, the free flow of lobsters, the fresh oysters, the chocolate fondue, countless pieces of chocolates with amazing fillings, the roast beef and the 'chatterbox' chicken rice sushi etc.. there are just too many good stuff to be all listed here! yummy yummy!

life is short.. enjoy it while you can =p
