commendation!!

i would like to commend a MR JOE TAN from acer service centre at the international business park near juronf east.. he made my first time experience at acer very memorable..

my mum's acer desktop, which was bought during last year's IT fair in june, came crashing down due to a sudden influx of virus, for whatever reason.. and since today after my FYP presentation in school i was free, thus i decided to bring it down to the acer service centre to get it repair, if not, reformatted..

obviously, at the service centre, i was serviced by joe tan.. i told him that my mum's desktop had alot of virus, and what was the best way to get rid of all those virus.. not only did he tell me that a reformat was the most effective way of getting rid of any virus, he did a reformat with me on the spot with no questions asked.. i also enquired that since the desktop is under warranty, is there any was i could avoid the $50 reformat fee, which i was willing to pay anyway..

guessed what? he said that since we are acer's customers, he can waived the $50 out of goodwill for me.. i was like.. WOW!!

the turnaround time for any acer repairs is damn fast, as compared to my own fujitsu.. from the time i parked my vehicle, to the time i send in the CPU for reformat, and the time i sat back in my vehicle, fully satisfied, the time taken was only 41 mins..

well done acer.. the next time should i decide to get a new notebook or desktop, you can be sure i will choose acer..

back from my first holiday

i just came back from my first holiday in cebu, philippines.. the experience there was great.. nothing but beach for 5 days, coupled with great diving and nice BBQ seafood.. wow!
