new hobby
recently peipei and i happen to take up a new hobby.. that is.. catching prawns, or in chinese 'diao xia'..well i wondered how it ever happened but both of us have been to 3 places to catch prawns and so far, we feel that the one in marina south is one of the better few.. here's a look at the rates and catch..
east coast coasta sands - $26 for 3 hours
worst of all the 3 places, twice we sat there for 3 hours and on average, we caught only about 8 prawns per time, and all were very small in size
yishun bottle tree park - $40.50 for 4 hours
great catch, not many bites on the rod, but the prawns caught are very big.. worth a try for beginners
marina south city fishing - $36 for 4 hours
alot of prawns, ranging from small to big, but prawns size on average not as big as in yishun
