blood donation??
peipei has been trying quite unsuccessfully to get me to donate blood, partly because i heard many horror stories of blood donation (inexperienced nurses causing bruises all over because of the needle poking at incorrect spots on your arm etc.), and also i was not mentally prepared to let myself get poked by needles..however on wednesday, i finally relented and donated blood.. i realised that donating blood isn’t such a bad experience after all.. the needle that is used to draw blood from your arm is huge, but before inserting that needle into a selected spot on your arm where the vein is, an anesthetic jab is given to that very same spot to make your arm feel numb.. after donating blood, i felt a sense of satisfaction, knowing that it could jolly well save a live..
